From October 23rd to 25th, the World Nomad Conference will take place at Colive Fukuoka, promising three exciting days of networking and learning. This event marks a significant milestone as the first large-scale nomad gathering in Asia organized and hosted by the local community. Previously, most nomad events in Asia were orchestrated by Western digital nomads. Our slogan, “Co-create and Celebrate a Global Community in Asia,” embodies our mission to bridge Asian and Western cultures, celebrate diversity, and build a unified community. Three key experiences: the World Nomad Conference in Colive Fukuoka offers
1️⃣Listen and learn from Speaker’s talks
This event is a one-of-a-kind opportunity, gathering over 40 top leaders in the digital nomad space from around the world. You’ll hear talks from government officials and experts involved in digital nomad visas, and see exclusive panel discussions featuring professionals in the digital nomad community. Don’t miss out on the valuable insights from corporate sponsors, as well as the personal stories and experiences shared by seasoned nomads from various backgrounds. 2️⃣Facilitate your topics at the Unconference
In addition to listening, you’ll have the chance to create your own discussions by joining our “Unconference” sessions. In a relaxed, informal setting at the park lounge, participants can propose and host workshops on any topic they wish to discuss. To join, simply write down your proposed topic on the whiteboard inside the conference venue. Let’s co-create the conference experience together!
What is the Unconference: Anyone can submit topics they’dlike to discuss, and others who are interested or have input are welcome to join the conversation. There’s no set agenda or big goal to reach; it’s more about letting the conversation flow naturally. Host team doesn’t plan any topics ahead of time, so we’re looking for you to share what you’d like to talk about. In the digital nomad community, it’s not just the people on stage who matter — everyone gets a chance to shine. We can’t wait to hear your ideas, so don’t hesitate to submit your topics!

Day 1 Highlights: A Lineup You Can’t Miss!
We’re kicking off the first day with a special welcome address by the Mayor of Fukuoka, followed by a series of inspiring guest speeches. Marie Kondo, renowned for the KonMari method, will share her insights, followed by an engaging discussion on the future of AI led by executives from Microsoft and Lenovo. From Taiwan, we’ll hear from Justin Yu, often referred to as the “next Audrey Tang,” as he discusses the next generation of housing.
Government representatives from Estonia, the Philippines, and Malaysia will also provide updates on their countries’ efforts to welcome digital nomads. Japan’s very own “Ramen Nomad,” Hideto Kawahara from Hide-Chan Ramen, will take the stage to share his journey.
We’ll wrap up Day 1 with a dynamic panel discussion featuring leaders from the digital nomad communities of Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. It’s going to be an exciting day packed with valuable insights!

In the afternoon, we have the much-anticipated “Unconference” waiting for you. Based on the themes you voted for on Day 1 and Day 2, the CUasia host team will guide discussions at five different tables. The topics will be announced at 1:30 PM, so be sure to gather at the Park Venue at that time and join in on the collaborative conversations!
